     Hi, my name is Todd Ruder. I am the owner and operator of Serenity Pools and Spas, LLC.  I have over 25 years of water experience. Prior to getting into the pool business I served in the United States Marine Corps as a Journeyman Hygiene Equipment Operator from 1999-2003. During my time in service, I was trained on reverse osmosis water purification units, utilizing media filters, cartridge filters and D.E filtration as a form of pre-treatment. After my service, I worked as a government contractor for 10 years training the military on mobile water purification units. Most of the units utilized various forms of filtration, everything from reverse osmosis, to ultra filtration, and micro filtration.

     Lastly, for 4 years I held a class IV water treatment license here in Virginia where I worked at a 5 million gallons per day water treatment facility. I completely understand the importance of providing safe clean water.  Much like drinking water, swimming pools require special skills. I am well trained and highly qualified, insured and certified as a pool operator. I can not only diagnose and solve the problem with your pool, but can also fix it efficiently and affordably for you.
